The mtns. are the same ones we saw in Palm Springs only the other side. They are on the Temecula, Ca side. Temecula is on the outskirts of L.A.

Leaving Yuma

Leaving Yuma the wind was bad especially in the Dunes area. The high fence between US and Mexico (the one in background). Finally lunch stop in the desert with a view.

We had 1 campfire. The winds blow at night here and not just a breeze.

Some of the group had to eat at the kids table at Red Lobster!

Anza-Borrego Desert State Park

This is the largest state park in California. It covers several thousand square miles of wilderness. You never know what you might see here!

Here are some pictures of our last adventure in Palm Springs. Indian Canyons is on Indian reservation lands and was where some of the Indians lived for years. It was a very protected area with mountains all around and palm oasis with running waters from the mtns. surrounding it. It would be just perfect for our motorhome site!

WOW! Jerry got a hole-n-one on #9!!!!!!! There will be no living with him now with that big head he won't be able to get in the motorhome! The course is giving him a plaque and everything.

Who knew the sunrise was so pretty! Up early 6:30 a.m. We have an 8:00 tee time to play golf.
